June 14-16, 22-23, 29-30 at 7:30PM
2:00PM matinee on June 30

Courage Theatre, Westminster College

This Shakespearean classic tells the tale of Macbeth, a brave and loyal Thane to King Duncan of Scotland. In an encounter with three Weird Sisters, they fortell that he will become king himself. Macbeth is overcome by ambition and greed; and bolstered by his wife’s encouragement, he kills King Duncan and takes the throne. Afterwards, Macbeth’s guilt, fear, and paranoia lead him to commit even more treachery to secure his power.
